The process:
First, Dr. Culler will "prep" your tooth by smoothing out the problematic area. This involves eliminating any areas of decay or broken down fillings - while preserving healthy tooth structure. He will then take a digital impression of your prepped tooth. The next step includes Dr. Culler's talented eye where he then digitally designs your restoration. Our computerized mill then uses these specifications to cut the crown out of solid block material with extreme precision, ensuring a perfect fit and natural appearance. This permanent crown is now ready to be seated.
The end result is a quicker, more reliable resolution. No more dealing with the hassle of temporary crowns, impression molding material and coming in for several appointments.
The appointment takes around 2.5 hours depending on your specialized treatment plan.
We can also use this technology to create veneers, abutments, onlays and bridges.
